Don’t Ask Don’t Tell

February 5th, 2010

Almost everyone knows what the militaries don’t ask don’t tell policy is,and most have heard about the president’s speech on it on January 29. Now that this policy is being lifted, and the service men and women will be aloud to be open about their sexuality, many are speaking out about it. One of the most heard worries about this policy is that while showering the openly gay people will be showering with the straight people. Those who have brought this to the spot light are concerned that they will be naked with a gay person. Well I think that if your going to have a problem being naked in the shower with other men than you probably shouldn’t have joined the military. These gay servicemen are there to serve their country, not check out the hot babe with the cute butt in the shower. And even if they do sneak a peek every now and then, who cares? The straight men should think of it as a compliment. And just like the article says, if the guys do get hit on they can always use one of their famous let down lines,”Your not my type.”
